Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to paid subscriptions purchased through MarketTriage. Free accounts do not involve any charges and are not subject to this policy.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and German BGB §355, consumers within the European Economic Area have the right to withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of purchase without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, contact us at support@markettriage.com with your account email and a clear statement of withdrawal. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request.

Waiver for immediate access: By subscribing and accessing paid features immediately, you expressly consent to the provision of digital content before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal in accordance with §356 Abs. 5 BGB and Art. 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • Your account reverts to the free tier when the paid period ends
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period

How to Cancel

  • Self-service: Go to Settings → Subscription & Billing → Manage Subscription. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel immediately.
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to support@markettriage.com. We process email cancellations within 2 business days.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing time depends on your payment provider but typically takes 5–10 business days.

Our payment processor (Stripe) may issue refunds within 60 days of purchase in cases of fraud, unauthorized transactions, or payment disputes.

Disputes

If you have a billing concern, please contact us at support@markettriage.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We respond to billing inquiries within 48 hours and aim to resolve issues amicably.
